The Orchard

Welcome to the Orchard Nursery

Orchard is our Nursery Class at Mayflower, and is for children who will be 3 in the September of any academic year. We follow a child-initiated approach, where children show high-levels of engagement in a creative, colourful, and diverse Learning Environment.

We are a Lead School for the Curiosity Approach, which surrounds children with natural materials that promote creative and open-ended play. Children will also engage with phonics and early number sessions on a daily basis.

Happiness, joy, and wonder are at the heart of everything we do. Our amazing children achieve excellent standards, and are very well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

You will be able to see what your child has been busy doing through your child’s online journal on Tapestry. If you have not already done so, please send in your details to us so we can set up your account.

Mrs Adam

Hello, my name is Mrs Adam. I work in the nursery from Tuesday-Friday.

I enjoy baking, spending with my family, and travelling. I have a green parrot called Kiwi.
I really look forward to coming to school and spending time with you all.

I love baking, sewing and spending time with my family.
