Welcome to Willow Class

Willow is one of our Reception Classes at Mayflower, and is for children who will be 4 in the September of any academic year. We follow a child-initiated approach, building on achievements in the Orchard, and where children show high-levels of engagement in a creative, colourful, and diverse Learning Environment. We are a Lead School for the Curiosity Approach, which surrounds children with natural materials that promote creative and open-ended play.

Children will also engage with phonics and early number sessions on a daily basis. Happiness, joy, and wonder are at the heart of everything we do. Our amazing children achieve excellent standards, and are very well-prepared for the next stage of their education.

You will be able to see what your child has been busy doing through your child’s online journal on Tapestry. If you have not already done so, please send in your details to us so we can set up your account.
